Debt-ridden Scottish Premier League club Gretna have confirmed that they will be able to complete their season.
The club, with debts of around £4 million, went into administration earlier this month and struggled to fulfil their fixture at Aberdeen last Saturday.
Gretna's players are not being paid and this Sunday's clash with Celtic was also in doubt before the SPL stepped in to provide funding.
"Following a meeting at Hampden today, we can confirm that the SPL have agreed to provide sufficient support to the administrators that will allow the club to fulfil all remaining fixtures this season," said a statement on Gretna's website.
Last week, Gretna's administrator David Elliot said the club needed to raise £30,000 in a day in order to stay in business and warned that a lack of players could prevent them facing Aberdeen.
The game did go ahead with Gretna losing 3-0. They are already doomed to relegation in their first season in the top flight after losing 10 of their 16 points as punishment for going into administration.
