Manager Simon Davies says the pressure surrounding Chester's plight is hampering his side's ability to learn from their defensive shortcomings.A run of one win from the last 10 games has left the Blues just two points above the relegation places.
Davies was left to rue Scott McGleish's late winner following the 1-0 defeat at Wycombe on Saturday, and has now called on his players to now win their remaining three games at all costs.
"It was the second ball [against Wycombe] that caught us out, but with younger players they sometimes see things a little too late," Davies told the Chester Evening Leader.
"It's a learning curve and I hope we can learn from that. But it's hard at the moment to say we'll learn from it because we're now in a situation where we're looking over our shoulder.
"I just feel that if we can play as well as we did at Wycombe when we face Shrewsbury on Saturday then we shouldn't have a lot to worry about."
