Mon 21 Apr, 05:45 PM

Brentford manager Andy Scott has confirmed striker Nathan Elder will be out for the rest of the season after undergoing knee surgery this week.Elder has been playing through a knee injury for several weeks and after scoring in the 3-2 defeat at Lincoln on Saturday will now go under the knife.

Scott said: "Nathan is going in for his operation on Wednesday so he will miss the last two games.

"I was very disappointed with our movement up front at Lincoln.

"Apart from scoring the goal, Nathan's movement was poor, while Alan Connell didn't hold the ball up.

"We didn't move the ball well enough in midfield, we didn't get enough crosses in and when we did we didn't attack the ball well enough."
