Mon 21 Apr, 07:16 PM

Grimsby striker Nathan Jarman is worried the supporters will turn their backs on the team if they fail to end the season on a winning note. The Mariners have lost their last six matches, including the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final, and Jarman admits he is "sick of it" ahead of a tricky last two fixtures.

The 21-year-old said: "Peterborough and Hereford are flying, but we've got to put something on for the fans because they're not going to keep coming to watch us if we keep losing."

Jarman added: "We've lost six games on the bounce now and to be honest I'm sick to death of it. So are the rest of the lads and we have got to put a stop to it.

"Silly defending and stupid mistakes have cost us dearly again.

"I'm not having a go at defenders because attackers and midfielders defend as well. We all attack together and all defend together, and now we are all fed up of losing together."
