Mon 21 Apr, 07:17 PM

Wycombe manager Paul Lambert hailed "top class" Scott McGleish after his latest strike sealed the Chairboys' place in the League Two play-offs.McGleish hit his 26th goal of the season - and his 31st in 55 starts since joining from Northampton in January 2007 - to complete a 1-0 win over Chester which keeps Lambert's side in contention for an automatic promotion place.

Lambert said: "He's got 26 now which is unbelievable.

"He's made a lot of those goals for himself and he has proved to be a top-class finisher.

"He only needs one chance at the minute and he and Delroy Facey look a right handful."
