Peterborough have confirmed they are in discussions with the council and police over an open-top bus parade to celebrate their promotion.Darren Ferguson's side clinched promotion with a 1-0 win at Hereford on Saturday and the club hope to organise a parade through the city for Sunday May 4.

Chief executive Bob Symns told the club's official website: "We think this is a marvellous opportunity for the players to show their appreciation to the fans for the wonderful support they have given this season."

Meanwhile striker Danny Crow has been granted special dispensation by the Football League to extend his loan at Notts County until the end of the season.
