Alain Cayzac has resigned as president of Ligue 1 strugglers Paris St Germain.
His resignation was accepted at a meeting of the club's shareholders.
PSG have installed Michel Moulin, director general of Groupe Hersant Média, as a temporary sporting advisor, pending further discussions.
Cayzac's resignation follows crisis talks on Sunday between Sébastien Bazin, representative of majority shareholders Colony Capital, and first team coach Paul Le Guen.
Three second-half goals saw PSG slump to a 3-0 defeat at 11th-placed Caen on Saturday.
The result leaves them second-bottom of Ligue 1, three points from safety with four games remaining.
The Parisians welcome Auxerre to the Parc des Princes at the weekend.
