Owen Coyle has revealed he has already "tabled offers for five players in the last fortnight" as he bids to strengthen his squad this summer.The former St Johnstone boss has already declared his interest in Scunthorpe frontman Martin Paterson but has refused to comment further on other possible transfer targets.

He told the club's official website: "I've tabled offers for five players in the last fortnight.

"I won't get them all, but I'd like to think at least a couple of them will come off.

"It's still early days but it was important to lay down some markers and make our intentions clear."
