Orient boss targets repeat success

Wed 21 May, 12:45 PM

Leyton Orient manager Martin Ling hopes his side's pre-season schedule will help them get off to another flyer in League One next season. The Os racked up six wins and a draw to roar to the top of the table this term and Ling has managed to arrange a similar selection of friendlies over the summer.

So far Orient have confirmed meetings with Boston, Dagenham, Football League new boys Aldershot and a glamour home clash with Tottenham.

"We've got a good mix where we face some decent non-league opposition, a couple of sides from League Two and a Premier League team," said Ling.

"It is fairly similar to the kind of opposition we faced last year, so hopefully we can get off to the same start."
