Spanish midfielder Jordi Lopez is discussing a potential new contract with QPR.

The 28-year-old made 10 appearances last season after moving to Loftus Road on a three-month deal.

Rangers are currently without a manager following Paulo Sousa's departure towards the end of the season but the club, who this week released five players including Liam Miller, are keen to keep hold of Lopez.

His agent, former Hoops midfielder Alex Bonnot, said: "QPR offered a contract and Jordi is considering his options. There are discussions going on."
