Stoke manager Tony Pulis believes the club are better placed to compete in the transfer market after their successful battle to stay in the Premier League.
Pulis is looking to strengthen his side in the summer after they invested £27million in new players this season.
He told the Sentinel: "I honestly think we will, fingers crossed, be able to step up to the next level when we are talking to players.
"We are still at a low level compared to a lot of clubs in the Premier League, but I do not think we are on the bottom rung any more."

I must admit i was one of the doubters when TP came back, didnt like the defensive way he laid out a team, but put my hands up it worked for us, thats probably why i work in a lab and not a football manager lol
where have all the fans gone that knocked tony pullis when he was named as the new manager?
AFTER WADDO, TONY PULIS IS THE NEXT BEST THING, BUT WILL BECOME A STOKE CITY LEGEND.
C'MON YOU MIGHTY MIGHTY RIPROARING POTTERS.
