Josh Wright is one Charlton player with something to smile about despite the dismal season at The Valley.

The Addicks may have been relegated to League One but 19-year-old midfielder Wright missed the run-in after joining Gillingham on loan.

Wright has made seven appearances for the Gills and is now gearing up to step out at Wembley on Saturday as his side go for promotion in the League Two play-off final against Shrewsbury.

"I'm only 19 and so still very young and to be playing at Wembley is something I'll be very proud of," he told Kent Online.

"Ever since we've qualified for the final it's been an exciting time.

"It's a game I've been really looking forward to it and it's something I'm thinking about day and night."
