Notts County manager Ian McParland has described the club's pre-season tour of Austria as a absolute 'first class' experience for the team.County returned from their stay at the National Sports Centre in Obertraun on Saturday with a week of intense training and two pre-season friendly victories under their belts.

"The trip was first class. Everything about it was superb and the two games we played were perfect for this stage of pre-season," McParland told the club's official website.

"We certainly got it right going there. The lads were first class and their attitude was superb right the way through.

"We are going along nicely but we have still got a lot of hard work to do and the double training sessions will continue ahead of the final three friendly games we have."
