MK Dons boss Roberto Di Matteo wants captain Keith Andrews to stay at the club despite putting the midfielder on the transfer list. The 27-year-old was named League Two player of the year last season after scoring 14 goals on his way to guiding the Dons to the title and Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
However, he has just one year left on his existing contract and has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League to be reunited with former Dons manager Paul Ince at Blackburn.
Di Matteo told the club's official website: "There's been a lot of speculation about Keith and there hasn't been an official offer yet so we just want to get it right.
"He is still part of this team and I hope he will stay with us but we have put him on the transfer list because there has been speculation but we haven't had a written offer from anybody.
"We can't wait any longer for a decision to be made."
