QPR manager Iain Dowie is eager to take training "up a notch" after watching his side comfortably beat Stevenage 3-1 on Sunday.Goals from Hogan Ephraim, Romone Rose and Matteo Alberti secured victory at Broadhall Way for the R's, who take on Northampton in their next pre-season friendly.
Dowie told the club's official website: "It was a useful game for us and a decent performance. I felt we played well in fits and starts. There was some good passing and we created numerous opportunities.
"But let's not get carried away. It was a win but there is still a lot to work on.
"We'll get back to the training ground over the coming days and look to take it up a notch or two against Northampton on Wednesday."
