Leyton Orient manager Martin Ling hailed Wayne Gray's "outstanding" contribution during the goalless pre-season friendly draw with Boston. The striker was making his comeback from a knee injury and the substitute twice came close to scoring in the latter stages.
Ling told the club's official website: "I thought Wayne looked outstanding when he came on. He got injured the last day of last season and has just started to join with us in training.
"We said to him he was going to come to do a little bit of work on the pitch but he trained [on Friday], said he felt good and asked to have half an hour. He got that and looked sharp out there."
