Patulea handed second Imps chance

Mon 21 Jul, 04:30 PM

Lincoln boss Peter Jackson will again run the rule over Adrian Patulea after the striker scored a hat-trick in the 6-0 win over Lincoln United.Goals from Patulea, fellow trialist Sam Mullarkey, David Graham and Gary King completed an emphatic victory for the Imps.

Jackson will continue to keep a close eye on Patulea, 24, this week before decided whether to sign the Romanian forward.

"After Sunday's second-half performance, Adrian definitely deserves another week with us," said Jackson.

"Adrian is still contracted to a club in Romania so we're currently talking to the FA to see if we can get in touch with his club.

"We may have to look into the possibility of signing him on loan, but it all depends on his club."
