Mon 21 Jul, 01:45 PM

Colchester boss Geraint Williams is determined to find an experienced replacement for Kevin Lisbie before the start of the season.Lisbie last week joined Ipswich in a £600,000 deal leaving Williams with summer signing Steven Gillespie, Scott Vernon and Clive Platt at his disposal.

Youngster Fabian Quintyn can also be called upon although Williams realistically will be looking to the transfer market.

He told the East Anglian Daily Times: "I reckon you need at least four senior strikers at this level these days.

"We have our list of players and now Kevin (Lisbie) has gone, we will be looking to identify these players for the chairman (Robbie Cowling)."
