Peter Kenyon has denied AC Milan's claim that Chelsea have tabled a "conspicuous offer" for Kaka and said a move for the Brazilian is unlikely.
Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani was reported in the Italian press over the weekend confirming the Rossoneri had rejected a mega bid from Chelsea, while Kaka's representative fuelled speculation by claiming the 26-year-old would be interested in a move to Stamford Bridge.
"It's true that Chelsea made a conspicuous offer, but I will not say how much it was," Galliani is reported to have told the Italian press.
"It is equally true that we said no. President Silvio Berlusconi rejected the chance to sell Kaka, just as he told Real Madrid no in 2001 for Andriy Shevchenko."
But shortly after arriving in China ahead of Chelsea's meeting with Chinese Super League outfit Guangzhou Pharmaceutical on Wednesday, Blues chief executive Kenyon denied any knowledge of the offer.
"There was no offer made. I have read the same articles," said Kenyon.
"They have made it clear that he is not for sale and we will make it clear we have not made an offer.
"There is no reason to negotiate over something they don't want to do and we have not made an offer."
Milan communications director Vittorio Mentana also reiterated "Kaka is absolutely not for sale".
But while a deal for one Brazilian appears unlikely, Kenyon was more confident over Chelsea's on-going negotiations with Real Madrid over striker Robinho.
The 24-year-old was a key figure in Real's championship winning side last season, but has made it clear he wants to join former coach Luiz Felipe Scolari in west London.
"It is well noted we have shown interest," added Kenyon.
"We have had discussions with Madrid over it and they are ongoing. The window is still open and we are still talking to Madrid."

I like Kaka's loylty and stiking to his team Milan I love that team and Kaka. I think he is so loyle that he is going to stay in that team intil he retires.
chelsea should try 2 sign some english stars just in case the 6+5 rule goes through.
imadhurata? Kaka a unhappy boy. He has openly stated several times that he wants to become a figure head, captain, and legend at a great historical club like Milan. Kaka is unlike many footballers in the world. He cares little about money or fame, he is a loyal and faithful player for Milan. I can see him playing for Milan until the club beleives that they no longer need him, or until he retires.
Kaka seems like an AC milan player he shouldnt go to Chelsea.
i think kaka is very annoyed that he is not allowed to go and play for his country for the olympics especially since ronaldinho is... that sort of thing would bug you
they to rich
Roboinho was a key figure? Have a look at statistics first or better yet watch some games...
obvious the agent is putting out, the come and get me sign, hoping that chelsea will try to open negotiations with milan. and milan are having none of it from the agent.
so i guess kaka isn't a happy boy at milan, and the greedy agent is doing his job.
@unzwa
sorry dat should be what else do you want?
PK has just said that there was no offer for kaka so what else do you think. IMO, i dont think the club wld be dat stupid.
This thing sucks. Scolari has joined coaches who come to Chelsea with big cotract desires. Chelsea has enough players to bild on, why go for Kaka?
