Shrewsbury have announced that Luke Daniels' loan period with the League Two club has been extended until the January transfer window.The 20-year-old joined prior to the pre-season clash with Stoke on an initial 28-day loan but has impressed manager Paul Simpson enough to earn an extended stay.

"I spoke to West Brom and they're happy with the way we've been treating Luke and the way that the football has been going for him," Simpson told the club's official website.

"I've been pleased with him and I think he has got better with each game that he's played for us and hopefully he will improve even more.

"We have him for this weekend's game against Aldershot but I've spoken to Luke and he's happy to extend the loan through to the January transfer window."
