Hull boss Phil Brown has written off his side's first two games of the season by claiming their campaign really starts now.
The Tigers have been beaten by one of the title favourites in Chelsea and another potential top-four contender in Tottenham in a tough opening to their Barclays Premier League programme.
Brown has had to pick his players up quickly after Wednesday's 5-1 thrashing by Spurs and is hoping for a change of fortune as his former club Bolton visit the KC Stadium.
Brown said: "We have had two games against two of the best teams in the country.
"We got nothing from them apart from pride in the first and a bit of a lesson in the second. "[Saturday] represents the start of the season for us."

To state the bleeding obvious, if we don't win games against Bolton, Wolves, Birmingham and less likely Burnley then we are doomed.to the Championship. Turner had the worst game I have seen him play against Spurs but I hope he gets on with it today.
Sorry still no midfield to play through to the forwards.
Folan working really hard but just not good enough poor lad. Geo is the only truely class yplayer we have at the moment if you exclude an elderly Barmby.
Hunt looks keen and maybe the new signings will start to fit in but things look a bit grim.
Prove me wrong boys, prove me wrong, I beg you.
Come on you ULLLLLLLLLLL
About time too!
