Danny Blanchett insists playing at the heart of defence was not a problem on his Hereford debut as his new side picked up their first win in 17 games against Accrington at the weekend.
The 21-year-old full-back arrived at Edgar Street on Thursday on a month-long loan deal from Peterborough and was immediately thrown in at the deep end as he partnered Darren Jones at the heart of the Bulls defence.
Nevertheless, he told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "Centre-back isn't my usual position - I've played left back all my life - but I find it quite comfortable.
"It's a good position for me. As long as I'm playing football, I'm happy."
He added: "We'll see how the month gets on, and we'll see if it needs to be extended."
