Wigan defender Emmerson Boyce has called on his team-mates to focus on this weekend's visit of Chelsea and not dwell on the disappointing defeat at Arsenal.
The 4-0 reverse at the Emirates means the Latics have conceded nine goals against two of the Barclays Premier League's 'big four', having lost 5-0 at home to champions Manchester United.
Carlo Ancelotti's side currently lead the table with a 100% record after six matches but Boyce does not see why Wigan cannot turn things around quickly after dropping into the bottom six.
"Arsenal are a great side. We have to take as much as we can out of that game, learn and crack on next week," he said.
"Chelsea play a different way to Arsenal and we are at home so hopefully that will be more of an advantage. We don't want to be getting beat by this amount of goals.
"We have to make it right against Chelsea. We have to crack on and get as many points as possible because we don't want to be playing catch-up too early in the season."

Stuart T;
Your right they all should start concentrating on defence first then work their way forward.
When Wigan first came up to the premiership the defence was solid and that went through to the midfield so Wigan could concentrate on scoring goals and thats how other teams found us so hard to break down.
We were difficult to play against.
Wigan should stop conceding goals and our own goals will come naturally, we have got some great strikers, we just need a better defence
Wigan were like headless chickens on Saturday. You can go on for ages about we are still learning, it may be to late - start by stopping teams playing before you try to get to fancy free! You all get paid a fortune in wages, so go out and earn it!
