West Indian paceman Corey Collymore has signed a one-year extension to his Sussex contract.
The 31-year-old former Test bowler will now remain at Hove until the end of next summer.
Collymore said: "It's great to be returning to Sussex for the 2010 season. I enjoy playing my cricket at Hove and 2009 has been a remarkable year for the club. I look forward to helping this club make a big impact on world cricket."
Sussex captain Mike Yardy said: "Corey is a dream to captain and he's fantastic to have around the dressing room. He's a quality seam bowler and his experience and input always proves priceless."
Left-arm seamer Chris Liddle has also signed a one-year deal after missing the entire 2009 campaign with an ankle injury.
