Norwich forward Wes Hoolahan admitted he was delighted to be back in the side as the Canaries drew 2-2 with Charlton.
The former Blackpool man had been frozen out by Paul Lambert since he took charge at Carrow Road but returned after several strong displays in the reserves and marked his comeback with a goal and a man-of-the-match performance against the Addicks.
He told the club`s official website: "It had been disappointing but I`ve just had to work hard on my game and It was great to play again.
"I played in the hole instead of on the wing and it depends on the game really.
"I`m happy to play anywhere and it worked against Charlton. I got a lot of the ball and helped create a lot of chances."
