Bournemouth midfielder Anton Robinson has admitted he is happy to keep on being the grafter in the midfield engine room for the league-leaders.

The former Weymouth star earned the plaudits from boss Eddie Howe after laying the foundations for the Cherries workmanlike 2-0 victory at Darlington on Saturday.

Flair players Brett Pitman and Liam Feeney maybe hogging the headlines but Robinson cares not one jot as long as his side continue to pick up the points.

He told the Bournemouth Daily Echo: "I've always had that sort of unsung hero role and as long as my team-mates appreciate it, the manager appreciates it and the fans appreciate it, that's all I really care about.

"There's no point in not playing to your strengths and I'm going to keep doing it to stay in the team."
