Saints pair cited

Northampton forwards Brian Mujati and Juandre Kruger have been cited for offences arising during Friday's 29-13 Heineken Cup defeat at Perpignan.

Mujati, Saints' replacement prop, will face an independent disciplinary hearing for an alleged push in the back of referee Nigel Owens.

Second row Kruger has been cited for an alleged stamp on Perpignan scrum-half Nicolas Durand.

Mujati pushed Owens off the ball while they both moved to a breakdown, earning an immediate reprimand from the official.

But Irish citing officer Murray Whyte deemed the offence worthy of further investigation, charging him with "an act contrary to good sportsmanship".

If found guilty of the offence, the maximum suspension the Springbok front row faces is 52 weeks, with four weeks the minimum recommended ban.
