Danny Wilson hopes Simon Cox would consider a return to Swindon should he be made available for loan by West Brom.
The striker penned a two-year-deal with Albion over the summer having shone for the Robins last season, but his time at The Hawthorns has yet to really take off. He has started just one league game while making four substitute appearances.
His only goal to date has come in the Carling Cup, and Wilson would love to see the 22-year-old back in a red shirt should Baggies head coach Roberto Di Matteo opt to loan him out.
Answering a supporter`s question at the club`s AGM, which there was a transcript on Swindon`s official website, the Town boss replied: "The club have a fantastic relationship with Simon Cox and we would like to think that if he did come out on loan, we would be a very serious consideration for him."
Wilson also suggested there may a chance to extend Simon Ferry`s loan stay at the County Ground, which currently expires on January 1.
When asked whether a permanent deal could be struck for the Celtic midfielder, Wilson replied: "He is still under contract beyond the end of the season, but there is a feeling we could extend things beyond January - albeit on a loan basis."

We are a top of the table championship team, When he has been given his chance he has run around like a headless chicken, he had a one-on-one on Tuesday and dragged it wide, Swansea had one and it was buried, and it gets even more clinical the higher up you get, put simply, the boy hasn't got it.
Fair comment, I assume that he was signed by the Chairman ? The Baggies have scored plenty this season,
but the forwards look lighweight. Cox has not exactly set the Hawthorns alight yet. My comment is a little
sarcastic - I think it is a cheek for Swindon to want him back on loan. Just three months after we paid an
alleged big fee.
Why not give him an opportunity to play first? Hardly been given a fair crack of the whip. Then again RDM didnt sign him did he? The current strike force of Wood and Moore are hardly setting the division alight! In fact our strike force is poor at the moment, so he deserves that chance.
How about buying him back then, for the fee West Brom paid ?
