Franck Ribery has been given the green light to feature in Bayern Munich's home game against bottom-placed Energie Cottbus on Saturday.

The France midfielder returned from midweek international duty with a knock to his ankle, but has since managed to shake it off and will be fit enough to play.

"It is not problem, he can play," coach Juergen Klinsmann confirmed.

Bayern are just three points behind Bundesliga leaders Bayern Leverkusen and Klinsmann will be keen to close that gap further.

He will also have Tim Borowski (abdomen) and Lucio (groin) for the weekend game, both of whom have overcome recent injuries.

"It was important for Lucio to get a little rest and shake off a few minor woes which he had accumulated," Klinsmann stated.

But Willy Sagnol (knee) and Hamit Altintop (foot) remain sidelined, prompting Cottbus goalkeeper Georg Tremmel to claim his team have a good chance of getting a result.

"This is the easiest game of the year," he stated.

"Nobody is expecting anything from us. We want to score a goal, save a point and annoy Bayern."

Cottbus come off their first home win of the season, a 1-0 success against lowly Karlsruhe.

"The pressure before that match was very high," coach Bojan Prasnikar said.

"The expectations for the game at Munich are certainly different. But we will not go there waving the white flag."
