Michael Danek's agent says West Brom have made a "big and significant offer" for the Viktoria Plzen goalkeeper, who is "very excited".Baggies boss Tony Mowbray is hoping to complete a deal for Danek before the weekend.
Albion had a loan request for the player turned down last week, but have now returned with a cash offer and a deal is thought to be close.
"Plzen received an offer from West Bromwich on Friday," Danek's agent Ondrej Chovanec told the Birmingham Mail.
"The contract was then translated and I would hope there could be a decision as early as today (Tuesday) or tomorrow.
"I am confident that this deal will happen before the end of the week because Plzen are going to Turkey to a training camp on Friday and will want a speedy conclusion.
"It is not my place to reveal the offer but it is a big and significant offer which I believe Plzen will want to accept.
"Michal is very excited that things are now moving along."
