Crystal Palace have completed the permanent signing of Leeds midfielder Shaun Derry on a two-and-a-half-year contract for an undisclosed fee.The 30-year-old's three-month loan spell at Selhurst Park expired after Saturday's win over Bristol City, but he has now agreed to begin his third spell at the club.

Derry played a major role in Palace's 15-match unbeaten run - which has seen them rise from second-bottom to fifth in the Championship - during his initial loan stint.

He has become manager Neil Warnock's second signing of the day, joining Birmingham midfielder Neil Danns who has arrived for an initial £600,000.
