Bury caretaker boss Chris Brass has enlisted the help of former Wigan boss Chris Hutchings as the Shakers look to move away from the drop zone. The ex-Latics chief is working with Brass and the team on a voluntary basis and temporary Shakers manager Brass was quick to dismiss any rumours about Hutchings being installed as the club's next manager.
Brass told the club's official website: "Chris is an old friend who has come in to give me a hand with training.
"It's a busy time for the club and he's here purely as a favour to me.
"No doubt the message boards will be full of speculation after he was seen this afternoon, but it's simply a case of an old mate helping me out."
