Cottagers manager Roy Hodgson, in the process of rebuilding after taking over the team from Lawrie Sanchez, was pleased to welcome Andreasen to west London.

"I am delighted that we have been able to bring Leon Andreasen to Fulham," he told the club's official website.

"He has all the attributes to succeed at the highest level and has the desire and application to perform well in every game.

"I'm sure that he will play an important part for us in the coming months.

"I am pleased that we have been able to add him to our squad, which we will continue to look to strengthen before this transfer window ends."

Hodgson has already taken Marlon King and Brede Hangeland to Fulham this month, while Cousin should also arrive after agreement was reached with SPL side Rangers.

Cousin, 30, had suggested through his agent that he was interested in the move. He is now negotiating personal terms.

"He has been scoring goals for us recently and you would always want to hold onto your players if you can," Rangers manager Walter Smith said before the deal was struck.

Cousin netted once in Gers' Champions League campaign, during the 3-0 away win in Lyon, and eight times in the SPL during 17 appearances.
