Guildford Heat's ULEB Cup campaign ended in familiar fashion - with yet another defeat - this time at the hands of Turkish side Turk Telekom 92-73.

Like in some many of their matches the BBL team started well and led by five at half-time but they just couldn't keep the intensity up and faded badly in the second-half.

The third quarter, in which the Turks outscored the Heat 36-16, ultimately proved to be the key phase of the game as Guildford struggled to get going after the restart.

However, despite the defeat, a couple of Guildford players come out of the match with enormous credit, with Michael Martin's 28 points and 15 rebounds being one of the stand-out statlines anywhere in the ULEB Cup on the night.

Tony Dorsey also impressed with 21 points, six rebounds, and six assists.

However, the result means that the Heat finish their first season in the competition with a 0-10 record and British participation in next year's competition now has to be seriously in doubt.
