Sheffield Wednesday boss Gary Megson was disappointed to see his side draw 2-2 at home to Hartlepool after they came from behind to take a 2-1 lead.
Peter Hartley gave Pools the lead early in the second half before Jermaine Johnson and Gary Madine struck to put the hosts in front, but Antony Sweeney grabbed an 87th-minute equaliser to ensure the game ended all-square.
Megson said: "I think you have to be disappointed when you're 2-1 up with a few minutes left of normal time."
He added: "Another way of looking it is that we were 1-0 down against a team who were making life difficult for us, putting a lot of numbers behind the ball.
"I think, overall, once you get to 2-1, you would expect to go on and win the game. I think we had 11 chances and they had two, which they stuck in.
"I thought it was a really crisp finish from Gary Madine and I was really pleased for him because it will do him the world of good."
Hartlepool boss Neale Cooper was delighted with the effort put in from his players.
He said: "The weather conditions were difficult for both sides but I thought it was a pretty exciting game. It was backs-to-the-wall a wee bit in the first half. We knew it would be like that but I thought the lads dealt with it.
"In the second half I thought we played some really good stuff. We rode our luck once or twice but I was really pleased with the effort.
"We have scored a great goal and the pressure was on them. Scott Flinders was magnificent in goal. He was very brave and it was a big performance from him."

Gary,
we were awful and although we should have won, we were too obvious and as soon as Hartlepools defenders saw what we were doing they started to handle us. Most teams who do/have played the long ball (direct POMO) style of football tend to have a target man and then a quick nippy partner who feeds off him.
When you brought on Lowe and Johnson things changed and we scored twice and looked to be going to win until they scored a quite superb goal.
If we are to keep challenging then we need to have a plan B (possibly play the ball on the floor with a good winger)
