Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd has admitted that his side "owe Preston one" ahead of their meeting at Vicarage Road on Saturday.A late Neil Mellor goal gave Alan Irvine's strugglers a 1-0 win over the Hornets at Deepdale in January and Boothroyd wants to turn the tables this time.
He said: "We do owe Preston one, definitely.
"They beat us at home and West Brom and almost beat Portsmouth. They can count themselves unfortunate not to get the result against Portsmouth. I thought their game against Portsmouth was a great advert for the Championship. I thought they were superb.
"We have to make sure we do get some revenge. We conceded a poor goal right at the end of the game. We want to make sure we put that right.
"We are all in it together and I think that's going to be really, really important."
