Huddersfield defender Tom Clarke has joined Blue Square Premier side Halifax on a month's loan after seeing his first team chances limited.Terriers boss Andy Ritchie told the club's official website: "Tom needs the competitive games because he's not being tested in the reserves.

"It will be for a month initially and if after he's had some games, it's conceivable that he could come back into the first-team reckoning here."

Meanwhile, Lucas Akins has returned to the club following the completion of his loan spell at Blue Square Premier side Northwich.
