Simon Grayson insists he harbours no jealousy towards FA Cup quarter-finalists Barnsley after they were handed a glamour tie against Chelsea. The Seasiders faced Simon Davey's men in the third round but lost 2-1 at Oakwell despite leading 1-0 with just 12 minutes remaining.
The Tykes since went on to dump Southend and Liverpool out of the competition to earn a plum home draw against Avram Grant's side.
Grayson said: "The game at Barnsley was one we could have won but five minutes of madness cost us the tie.
"You never know how we would have got on at Southend or at Anfield.
"But you can't look back and it's fantastic for Barnsley, and I'm they'll look forward to playing Chelsea at home in the quarter-finals."
