Newcastle could be boosted by the return of Shay Given and Obafemi Martins for Saturday's Premier League clash with Manchester United.The Irishman has resumed training after recovering from the groin injury he suffered at Aston Villa a fortnight ago, while the Nigeria striker has shaken off the ankle problem with which he returned from the African Nations Cup.

Charles N'Zogbia is available after missing the game at Villa Park through suspension, while Abdoulaye Faye, who only made the bench for that game, could also figure.

Kick-off at St James' Park is at 5:15pm.
