Magilton to stick with same side

Fri 22 Feb, 12:00 PM

Jim Magilton has the luxury of a complete squad to choose from for the tough trip to face the latest Championship leaders Stoke.Midfielder Alan Quinn was Magilton's only injury concern but returned from an ankle problem as a late substitute in last weekend's 2-1 win over Blackpool.

Magilton is expected to name an unchanged side after a superb performance against the Seasiders which should have seen them win by a larger margin.

Macedonian midfielder Velice Sumulikoski - dubbed the 'Balkan Steven Gerrard' in his homeland - opened his goalscoring account against Simon Grayson's side and his form should again restrict Quinn and Owen Garvan to the bench.

Jonathan Walters notched his 12th goal of the season in that win and will again play up front after moving from the right wing to accommodate new £2million signing David Norris.

Ipswich have never won at the Britannia Stadium - their last win in the Potteries came at the old Victoria Ground in March 1997 - but a win over Tony Pulis' side could push the Tractor Boys up to fifth place.
