Southampton manager Nigel Pearson has made his first signing by luring Fulham centre-back Ian Pearce to St Mary's on loan.Pearce, 33, has joined the Championship club on a 30-day loan and goes straight into the squad for the trip to Scunthorpe.
The experienced defender has played in every Premier League season since its inception in 1992 and has featured for Chelsea, Blackburn, West Ham and Fulham.
