Sheffield United striker Billy Sharp admits that life under new manager Kevin Blackwell looks bright.The life-long Blades fan, who joined his home-town club in the summer from local rivals Scunthorpe, has been praising the influence of the new manager on the team.

He told the club's official website: "Every manager has different methods and Kevin likes to play at a high tempo which suits my game.

"I needed a boost personally and the squad probably did too.

"He has put his arm around all the lads to give them that extra encouragement and belief, everybody knows exactly what he expects which is good for everyone."
