Paul Sturrock is looking forward to testing out new loan recruits, Russell Anderson and Gary Teale ahead of Saturday's clash against Burnley. The ex-Dundee Utd striker has suggested that while he may not be considering a permanent move for the Scottish duo, getting players in on loan is a good way to learn more about them.
Sturrock told the club's official website: "There's a fine opportunity with loans for people to see us and for us to see them.
"It is a far better way of finishing up with a player, rather than someone signing a two-and-a-half year deal and leaving after eight months."
The Scot also suggested that he may look to bolster his squad further in the pursuit for the play-offs.
"The circumstances of where we are in the league means that, if we are biting and scratching just before the deadline, we could get someone else in for that extra boost." he added.
