The England man recently returned from injury in the 3-1 FA Cup win over Huddersfield Town, but after being left on the bench against Olympiakos in the mid-week Champions League tie speculation had begun to grow that he would be omitted from the clash with Spurs.

However, Chelsea boss Avram Grant has reportedly told Lampard that he will start, but has yet to make a decision on John Terry.

The Blues' talismanic captain returned from a broken foot to play in the victory over Huddersfield, but had to make do with a place on the bench for the 0-0 draw in Greece.

Grant must also decide whether to partner Didier Drogba with Nicolas Anelka up front.

Spurs boss Juande Ramos is keeping coy about whether Paul Robinson will be selected ahead of Radek Cerny in goal.

Robinson pulled off two vital saves in Spurs' UEFA Cup last-32 second-leg tie against Slavia Prague on Thursday night, after spending the previous 10 matches on the bench following a string of errors that saw him demoted from the side.

But Spurs boss Juande Ramos has refused to reveal if the former England number one will keep his place in the side, saying: "There is a lot of things to consider before deciding on the final team line-up for Wembley."

Right-back Pascal Chimbonda was forced off against Slavia Prague with an injury and could be replaced by Alan Hutton, while defensive duo Ledley King and Matthew Dawson may not be ready to feature.
