Millwall manager Kenny Jackett slammed his side's first-half performance against Middlesbrough.
Boro created numerous chances on their way to taking a two-goal lead, although Darius Henderson's header ensured it was only 2-1 to the visitors at the interval.
Middlesbrough sealed victory four minutes from time when substitute Curtis Main netted his first goal for the club.
Millwall remain three places and six points above the relegation zone and Jackett said: "We were very poor, we were physically not strong enough and we got bullied.
"We have to look at ourselves, we weren't competitive enough or strong enough in the first half.
"We can't give ourselves a mountain to climb like that, but we did fight back with some spirit."

What now for Millwall? Something has to change and although Kenny has done a fantastic job if the players arent working for him then maybe there needs to be some difficult choices made?

Hate to say this but times up Kenny, we are getting worse and we are going down if it continues, such a shame after so much work to get promoted.
Millwall forever
that first half was one of the worst performances ive seen since i started going in 1988?.
Now there's somethingI never thought I'd ever hear, a manager of Millwall FC saying his side was bullied.
