Tomasz Kuszczak got the lowdown from Manchester United team-mates Ashley Young and Tom Cleverley before linking up with Watford on loan until the end of the season.
The Poland international goalkeeper was advised to make the move by the prominent pair, who themselves prospered thanks to their time spent at Vicarage Road.
Past and present United goalkeeping coaches Eric Steele and Tony Coton - both former Hornets stoppers - also recommended the switch to Kuszczak, who has already experienced first-hand the information passed on to him.
"From the first training session (on Tuesday), I see what they mean about the intensity of the work here and the strong mentality of the players," the 29-year-old told Watford's official website.
"This seems like a club with young players and young staff taking their work seriously. Let's see how much I can help in my time here.
"I want to have a chance of being involved in the Euros in my home country this summer so I need to be out there playing so everyone can see I'm fighting fit and still very hungry. I'm grateful to Watford for the chance - and hopefully this can benefit both sides."

Having been at the game and witnessed his fluff for their 1st goal, it seems hard to tell the difference between them. Hopefully it can be put down to 1st (proper) game jitters, or else we'll be rotating GK for the rest of the season, whilst shipping goals for fun lol !!!!
What, the confidence that he hasn't always shown you mean ? Seeing someone doing the job properly may well do Loach some good tbh.
that should do wonders for loaches confidence.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
