Zoltan Gera's agent claims the midfielder will leave West Brom at the end of the season with the Hungarian able to move on a free transfer.
Gera, who came close to joining Middlesbrough in January 2007, is thought be a target for a host of Premier League clubs and Gera's agent Vladan Filipovic believes the Hungarian international should be playing for a club competing in Europe.
"I wasn't his agent that time [when Middlesbrough tried to sign him] so all I can say is that Zoltan surely leaves the team at the end of the season," Filipovic said.
"Some teams from the Premiership would like to sign him but we don't adhere to England - there are interested sides from other countries as well.
"The main point is that he should get to a team which is involved either in the Champions League or in the UEFA Cup. Zoli's place should be in a European football competition."
