Harry Redknapp fears he may lose more of his players to injury in their efforts on behalf of a series of international friendlies next week.Pompey, who face West Brom in the FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley on Saturday April 5, will nervously wave off players on Saturday evening for international duty with England, Croatia, France, Ghana, Nigeria, Iceland and the Czech Republic.
The Portsmouth boss explained: "It is not ideal for us. I just hope they will all come back in one piece - but it seems a crazy time at this stage of the season to throw in another (international) match."
On Saturday's clash at Spurs, he said: "I went to see Spurs play Chelsea on Wednesday night and it is going to be a tough game for us.
"They have got everything, really. (Dimitar) Berbatov and (Robbie) Keane are great strikers. That's why we got the chance to buy Jermain.
"They didn't have to sell him but we went in with a good offer and he's responded with six goals in six games.
"I don't care about statistics. This season we have just gone and broken records everywhere.
"We've got loads of players away next week and three games in a week is a tough test for them.
"We have Wigan coming to us next Saturday before the FA Cup semi-final and the last thing we want are injuries.
"The Cup is obviously our best way into Europe but it is still possible we can make it into the UEFA Cup through fifth place in the league.
"After last weekend Everton are only six points in front of us in fifth - but at this stage that's still a lot and they must still be favourites.
"All we can do is pick up as many points as we can in the league and keep winning the cup games.
"It has been a fantastic season whatever happens but people expect even more of us now and we know what it means to them."
