Carlisle United cruised to their sixth away win of the season when they beat Leyton Orient 3-0 at Brisbane Road on Saturday afternoon.Facing a fierce wind in the first half, Carlisle soon posed threats and went ahead when Danny Graham met a cross from Chris Lumsdon with a close-range header after 17 minutes.

Carlisle added a second when full-back David Raven joined the attack and capitalised on some indecisive defending on the edge of the 18-yard area and scored a rising shot in the 32nd minute.

Orient midfielder JJ Melligan was then sent off when he fouled United defender Evan Horwood with a sliding challenge which attracted an immediate red card from referee Keith Hill.

Marc Bridge-Wilkinson then broke away to set up Carlisle's third from Grant Smith five minutes into the second half.

Orient at least managed a shot on Carlisle's goal - a token effort from substitute Jabo Ibehre with 71 minutes played.
