Yeovil manager Russell Slade believes his side are just one win from League One safety after beating promotion-chasing Doncaster Rovers.Town's Terry Skiverton and Lloyd Owusu took advantage of disastrous defending, and although Paul Heffernan scored for Doncaster, on-loan goalkeeper Scott Flinders made crucial saves to ensure all three points.

Slade said: "These three points will go a long way towards ensuring safety. We have seven games left and probably one more win will make certain."

Slade praised his side's second-half defensive effort, especially given their depleted squad.

"I knew it was going to be difficult after the break, but we defended well. Everyone stuck to their jobs and it was very pleasing, especially as I had my only fit 16 players on duty," he added.

"If we play with this application, there should be no problem."
